May the Lord grant you grace, peace and health in the Holy Spirit. It is 18th July 2022. We reflect on Micah 6:1-4,6-8, and Matthew 12:38-42.

God does not expect anything from us except what God has bestowed on us already. “The Lord has told you what is good, and this is what he requires of you: to do what is right, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.” (Mic.6:8). It is not about to be right but to follow the rhythm of right that is good; merging with mercy, and humility in every encounter of humanity at large.

In the first reading, God has a case against God’s people for their indifference towards God for having showed magnanimously generous in giving and forgiving

The sign and symbols, rites and rituals are the pointers to the Lord.

If our love for God is only within the limits of the walls of the Church and family, we are conveniently leaving our responsibility towards the society. Love and mercy cannot exist opposing each other.

The resurrection of Jesus offers us to live for love, life, and mercy. May the Lord continue to strengthen us the desire of God. Have a lovely day.
