It is 02nd August 2022. We celebrate the feast of Our Lady of Angels of Portiuncula. We reflect on Jeremiah 30:1-2, 12-15, 18-22 and Matthew 14:22-36.
Christ can deal with any crisis in our life. Hope never hops for the one who believes.
When everything seems to go or stand against us, God alone stands by us. God overtakes and overpower everything however powerful it might look to us. A time of healing, restoration and renewal happens when we believe and hope in God.
Time and time again, the Lord whispers in our being: “Courage! It is I! Do not be afraid.” (Mt.14:27). No one can stop the Lord walking towards us even the storm is threatening. Our prayerful moments turn into a blessing. The three moments of prayers namely the Lord to the Father, Peter in his desperation, and the disciples in praise and awe at the Lord: “Truly, you are the Son of God.” We all need to practice all three ways of prayers as petition, praise, and communion. May the Lord help us to come closer to Him to deal with whatever we face at this moment in our life. May God bless you.
