May the Lord bless you with grace, peace, and health in the Holy Spirit. It is on 21st September 2022. We celebrate the feast of St. Matthew, the Apostle and evangelist. We reflect on Ephesians 4:1-7, 11-13 and Matthew 9:9-13.
We are the sources of the resource of God. Yes, God has entrusted each one with some talent, gift, and charism to be used for the welfare of the world, the Church, and the community we belong.
Recognizing God’s mercy and compassion in our life like St. Matthew, we appreciate the gifts we already have in our life.
Learning and lifting our lives are part of our efforts in building the community. Mere following and responding to Jesus out of sensational decisions or emotional eruptions are not bearing witness to Him rather delivering the task that is entrusted to us is authentic discipleship.
Whenever we feel broken, bruised and outcast, we have more to offer towards the community and the members who are treating us the way they do. Emulating Jesus, we need to recognize modern Matthew in our community and family to help them know their vocation and find meaning in their life.
However hopeless a person looks in front eyes, there is hope and love for everyone in the Lord through our charitable ways and approaches towards them.
May God strengthen us and use the gifts to bring more people near Jesus. Have a peaceful day.
