We are not baptized to be saved only but to serve all people by all means and at all costs

Good morning good people, May the Lord give you grace, peace and health as we celebrate the feast

Good morning good people,

May the Lord give you grace, peace and health as we celebrate the feast of the Baptism of the Lord.   It is on 09th January 2023.  We reflect on Isaiah 42:1-4, 6-7; Acts 10:34-38 and Matthew 3:13-17.

Do you know your baptism date and the name of the priest who baptized you?

God is pleased with us as we believe and behave like mature people.  To be an adult means to be mature integrally.

God wants everyone to be saved and to experience the knowledge of the truth.  (1 Tim 2:4).  The Sacrament of Baptism offers the privilege to be a servant of the Lord among the people.

The mystery of incarnation crowns in its mission.  To be mature means to be a missionary, a witness and a living testimony for the Lord and the values of the Kingdom of God.

Jesus never remained in the manger forever to be worshipped and adored but He grew up and led the others through his missionary activities.  The objective of the Sacrament of Baptism is to be at the service of humanity.

The Baptism of our Lord is the Christophany in which we encounter Jesus as our Messiah, the Saviour and merciful Lord who

We are not baptized to be saved only but to serve all people by all means and at all costs.

Let us not continue to display our ignorance, immaturity, childish and sinful ways rather we need to be noticed and recognized by God.

We are assured during the Sacrament of Baptism that we are so dearly loved by God and so we have the responsibility to love others with respect.  No mission is possible without love.  We are the banners and billboards of God’s love for humanity.  It is through Baptism; we are all united with Christ in His mission.  May we continue to shine His face on earth through humility, compassion, and merciful and loving acts.  God bless you.
