Dear People of God,

May the Lord give you grace, peace and health in the Holy Spirit.  It is on 30th September 2022.  We celebrate the memorials of St Jerome, who translated the Bible into Latin.  He is a Patron of librarians.

Questioning God’s wisdom is the desperation of human inability in finding answers with their reason and free will.  Job questioned God yet was discouraged because he could not get the answers he was looking for.  Job attempted to answer the questions of the friends but finally surrenders himself.

Why good people suffer and why the world is going through tsunamic suffering?  Can silence and surrender be the answer to what we go through in our life?

Realization in life comes by confronting realities head-on.  Because God speaks through good as well as evil.  We are quick to attribute God for blessing and not ready to embrace the sufferings that come on our way.

It is through all the challenges and struggles; we begin valuing the best things we enjoy from God.

The more we surrender our lives, the more we are blessed.

As the saint of the day teaches us, “Ignorance of Scripture is ignorance of Christ,”  so our ignorance to recognize the presence of God leads to self-annihilation.

May God bless you.
