Radical choices radiate the glory of the Lord in our lives

May the Lord bless you with peace and health in the Holy Spirit.

We reflect from

Radical choices radiate the glory of the Lord in our lives.

When we have found the treasure and the pearl Jesus in our life, our face too radiate Christ.  The radiance of spiritual life is the basis and foundation of the rest.  When we have put the spiritual life in order, the rest fall in place in our life.

Encountering the Lord has a tremendous effect on our body.  The first reading brings out the spark of the radiance of God in the face of Moses that the people of Israel experienced and found it hard to look at him.

It is the constant effort to bring out the best of ourselves and the original and uncontaminated version of ourselves has a certain aura or inner energy to radiate around.

We all encounter the Lord in the Sacraments, especially in the Most Holy Eucharist.  Do we radiate the One to the others after receiving Him into our being?

Jesus compares the kingdom of God to treasure and pear that is found and sought after.  Unless we lose what, we have already and holding on for our survival and sustenance, we cannot have the pear and the treasure.  “If you try to hang on to your life, you will lose it. But if you give up your life for my sake, you will save it.” (Mt. 16:25).

What are we going to sell in order to enjoy the treasure and pear, the kingdom of God?  When we love the Lord and radically make a choice to let go, we radiate the love of Jesus to people around us.

May the Lord grant us the heart to radiate Christ in every choice.  God bless you.
