Patience and prayer always reward at the end. By rushing for answers and oversimplifying God’s plan delays God’s blessings in our life

May the Lord bless you with peace and health in the Holy Spirit. It is 05th August 2021.

May the Lord bless you with peace and health in the Holy Spirit.

It is 05th August 2021. We celebrate the Dedication of St. Mary Major and Our Lady of Snows.

We reflect on Numbers 20:1-13 and the Gospel of Matthew 16:13-23.

Life offers so many things; it offers chance and choice to all of us. Chance to believe and choose to keep up the belief consistently.

We wonder at times why do good people suffer and go through disappoints in life?

Why was Moses by God and Peter by Jesus reprimanded?

The most admired, humblest person, beloved friend, leader, and prophet Moses failed at the last moment in providing water from the rock on which he struck twice. He was denied entry to the Promised Land for not trusting the Lord by striking twice on the rock.

“Listen, shall we bring water for you out of this rock?”  Moses exalted his own power more than God. A reason unknown to us and kept away from our eyes by the Scripture.

Though Jesus applauded Peter for his profession of faith, when he undermined the plan of God, Jesus chided him. “God forbid it, Lord! This must never happen to you.”

No happiness without suffering. Without trust in the Lord, there are no lasting blessings.

Disobedience to God’s Word and not read to suffer for the sake of justice and good incur punishment from God.

God does not tolerate our evil actions and thoughts by our parallel goodness. Love my wife and children and that is why I physically discipline and control them. We cannot continue to please God by doing good in pieces while our life is filled with evil.

Patience and prayer always reward at the end. By rushing for answers and oversimplifying God’s plan delays God’s blessings in our life.

May the Lord grant us the courage to look into ourselves. Am I ready to embrace the plan of God in my life and for my family and the Church? Have a lovely day. God bless you.
