Good morning good people,

May the Lord give you peace and happiness in the Risen Lord.

It is on 27th April 2024.

We reflect on Acts 13:44-52 and John 14:7-14.

Are we good enough to be a witness?  What is trimming our wings of prayer?

Every challenging life situation is an opportunity and an eye-opener for further personal and community development.

There is no way we need to give in just because we cannot get in.

Fighting with someone is a waste of time rather than we need to learn dealing with the issues.

Being good is a witness need not be proved.

The growing Church wanted to spread its wings, but someone trimmed its wings of mission and wished to cage it.

The first reading brings out a situation where Paul and Barnabas who faced opposition did not spend their time in proving their goodness to those who opposed them.

They moved into the places where the Spirit of God led them.  Beauty of goodness is moving forward and not remaining stagnant and become stammering.

We witness opposition everywhere, in our personal life, in the Church, in the corporate world, and in the community.

We need not fear any type of inciting, intruding, and interfering while spreading our fragrance of goodness.

It is always good to learn by rising above the muddy waters of oppression.

Let us not get stuck swimming in the pond we are comfortable and convenient.

The ocean of opportunities is waiting for the ones who are willing to swim and smell the fresh breeze and waters elsewhere.

If someone is fighting and differing with us, let us not assume that God is against us.  The opposite is true.  God loves and stands by the one swim against the current not the ones who goes by the flow.

God wants us to be light, why do we love to remain in darkness.  It is not worth fight the darkness but to explore the means of tapping the resources of light opens growth personally, and globally.

It is good to be aware of the past and the dangers involved facing pandemic like corona but to ruminate them over and over would make us plunge into the ripples of fear and shame.

To protect we need to provide the alternatives.  People who have been exhausted fighting with others find it challenged to embrace anything new.

The Gospel teaches us that our actions are the proof of our belief.

God cannot refuse anything for the one who believes in Jesus.

Are we asking and doing what God wants or are we doing and speaking the things we wish?

May the Lord enlighten our hearts to lighten the world in us and around us.  May you have a good day.

God bless you.
