It is 04th June 2022. We reflect on Acts 28:16-20, 30-31 and John 21:20-25.
Truth and good cannot be stopped. It spreads more we hide it from the eyes of the others. People notice good and truth in our actions in words without our efforts. The Gospel is the truth and the Good News which is rooted in the hearts of people before people could realize it.
Instead of wasting our time looking at the false and failures of others, let us begin promoting truth and goodness wherever we are. St. Paul spread the Good News even in the most challenging time of his life. In recognising the power and presence of the Holy Spirit in our lives, we to spread the Gospel we believe in. With the Psalmist, let us repeat the prayer: “Lord, send out your Spirit and renew the face of the earth.”
We need to work on one thing distraction and dissipation in life. The more we worry about what others are doing in their lives, the less we come closer to Christ. Are we losing focus on the Risen Lord because of someone? Just like St. Peter, we might be preoccupied with the question: “Lord, what about him/her?” The Lord encourages us to follow Him without being distracted by the way others behave and believe.
