May the Lord give you peace and health in the Holy Spirit.
It is 18th June 2021.
We reflect from 2 Corinthians 11:18, 21-30 and the Gospel from Matthew 6:19-23.
“For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. The eye is the lamp of the body.” (Mt. 6:21).
Most of us love money, wealth, and riches in our life. in truth, money cannot buy so many things like love, truth, peace, joy, mercy, and forgiveness. Yet we all want to shine in the world with the means of shaded lights than shining lamps.
When our look is healthy our heart becomes loving. The power of a loving heart is the treasure we all need to look for. St. Paul shares a list of selfless efforts and inconveniences he went through for spreading the Word of God.
Are we having our hearts in the wealth or wealth in the heart?
Heart treasures and eyes perceive when we are generous and gentle with the others.
Worry sickens our heart and our life. Cares and worries dissolves our courage to be the person God wants us to be. Can we live a life free of worries and concerns? Yes, when we are willing love genuinely without any wrinkle of selfishness. The way we see, we become healthy or sick. Our perception penetrates the avenues of our hearts and inner being. Negative perception cannot bring about positive effects on us.
Good eyes perceive good things in us and others. Bad eyes stare at selfish and sinful things that are harmful to us personally and divide us collectively.
May we train our hearts to treasure things that direct to Heaven and happiness than to have a heart filled with pressure that leads to Hell and sufferings.
Have a day full of peace, happiness, and joy. May God bless you.
