God never changed the perception on us, but we shift our reception with God time and again

Good morning good people, May the Lord give you peace in the Holy Spirit! It is 30th April

Good morning good people, May the Lord give you peace in the Holy Spirit!

It is 30th April 2021.

We celebrate the memorial of St Pius V, pope.

We read and reflect from Acts 13:26-33; Psalm 2; and the Gospel of John 14:1-6.

God never changed the perception on us, but we shift our reception with God time and again.  St. Paul continues to expound the salvation history and bring them Jesus the Good News.

The responsorial Psalm asserts us, “You are my Son; this day I have begotten you.” (Ps. 2:7).

Whenever we are troubled and perturbed, we all want to know in some point in life, which way to go, what is the right thing to do, how to speak a perfect word that heals. Finding the answers to them all is a life journey.

Jesus assures each one of us whatever the life situation we are in, “Do not let your heart be troubled”. During these overwhelming moments of life, His words are soothing relief to us all.  Just repeat these words of healing for the whole day. Countless waves of thoughts and emotions go unprocessed daily and hit the tender walls of our heart daily.  Jesus uttered these words of comforts and hope just before His brutal end of his life.  God wants to accommodate everyone of us through Jesus, who still a servant of God preparing everything for us.

But in today’s Gospel, on behalf of us all, St. Thomas asked posed the question we dare to ask Jesus: which way to go and how do we know it is the right?

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”

May we believe Jesus and His life-giving Words that allows to have a place near God always.  Have a peaceful day.  God bless you.
