Echoing God’s music is the purpose of our lives

May the Lord give you grace and peace in the Holy Spirit. It is on 10th December 2022.

May the Lord give you grace and peace in the Holy Spirit.

It is on 10th December 2022.  We celebrate the memorial of Our Lady of Loreto.  We reflect on Ecclesiasticus 48:1-4, 9-11, and Matthew 17:10-13.

Whose tune are we tuning in?

The rhythms of God are peace, joy, and mercy. In order to listen to such tune, we all need to come out of the tunnel vision on sins.  When we are in the dungeon tunnel of sin, we find ourselves traveling nowhere yet we love moving on however hurtful to the soul, body, and mind.  By time sin numbs our souls and we do not hear the healing music of God.

If we continue to listen and tune ourselves to the music of God, our life will be a melody of mercy and merit like that of the prophet Elijah.  Advent is a time to bring someone closer to God.

John the Baptist and Elijah listened to the tune of God and turn their hearts to God.  Echoing God’s music is the purpose of our lives.

We need to be careful of the music and tune the evil and the devil plays so loudly daily.  May the Lord help us attune to His rhythms in our life and make the lives of people enriched by the good works we do.

May God bless you.
