May the Lord bless you with grace, peace, and health in the Holy Spirit.
It is on 10th September 2022. We reflect on 1 Cor 10:14-22 and Luke 6:43-49.
Our fruitfulness depends on our rootedness in Christ, the Rock and that rock was Christ! (1 Cor 10:4). God created us for being fruitful. To be fruitful means to be together, united, and connected with others without neglecting the least of our community.
Authenticity and integrity come by maturing in a relationship with Christ. “A good man draws what is good from the store of goodness in his heart; a bad man draws what is bad from the store of badness. For a man’s words flow out of what fills his heart.”
We bear fruit when we are aware of our connectedness with one another through Christ. “We who are many are one body.” (1 Cor.10:17).
Being indifferent to one another is an outright betrayal of what we profess in Christ. It is not about participating in some rituals that makes us fruitful in the way we are united with one another makes it possible.
In listening to one another, we hear the voice of God. The cries of the poor are indeed the cry of God.
May we be united to be fruitful. May God bless you.
