God never stops touching us through Jesus. “Do not fear, only believe.” (Mk.5:36).

Our intention to touch and be touched by God is the beginning of our healing. God loves life, healing, health, and sinners as opposed to death, sickness, sin, and suffering. The hands and hearts of God are stretching towards those who suffer whether one is young or old.
A 12-year-old girl and a woman who suffered for 12 years are healed by Jesus in the Gospel. God’s time of healing is perfect and permanent. Touching the hem of the garment of Jesus, and the longing to have at least the crumbs that fall from the table of the master are deep desires to be loved by the Lord. The healings brought out the message that Jesus is not merely the Master but the Lord who heals and gives life.
Blood and the dead are unclean when we are in contact with was a contamination in the context of Jesus’ time. However, unclean we feel, we need not fear to touch the Lord and the Lord raises us to life even if we are dead physically and spiritually.
Our wishes and prayers to brothers and sisters who celebrate the Chinese New Year around the world. It is the year of the Tiger that symbolizes ambition, confidence, courage, speed, and tenacity the most positive and powerful characteristics of the person. Let us not use this for selfish and destructive purposes. May God bless you.
