Dear People of God,
It is 17th day of December. The first reading gives us a blessing, “Your hand on the neck of your enemies, the sons of your father shall bow down to you.” True, indeed to note that we are able to have a grip on our evils and sins much more powerfully than any other time. Advent is the time to know where we come from, where are we now and where are we going spiritually. More closely, who do we belong to? It is the time to take inventory of our spiritual life. It is a time to submit ourselves to God. God is willing to forgive us if only we are prepared internally to ask God. God cannot forgive you in the Catholic Church outside the Confessional Room. There is no short-cut to heaven and grace. We need to dive into ourselves and to expose our whole being to God so as to see his Son Jesus Christ. If you go for a good Confession, your Christmas is going to be surely different. There is peace in our hearts because of Jesus. As we read the Genealogy of Jesus Christ, let us be thankful that we belong to the history in which Jesus is part of it. May you have a blessed day.
