Dear People of God,
It is 22nd day in December. The first reading is about Hannah praising God by offering Samuel back to God for what God has done to her. In the Responsorial Psalm, we reflect the song of Hannah, “My heart exults in the Lord, my Saviour.” As we hear the Gospel, we hear Mary is singing God’s praises for what God has done to her by singing, My souls proclaims the greatness of the Lord; my spirit rejoices in God my Saviour. For He has looked upon his lowly servant. From this day all generations will call me blessed.” (Lk 1:46-47). It is time to praise God for what God so far done to us as we are preparing ourselves to receive Jesus. God is serious in blessing us during this festive time; are we serious about our commitment to Christ. May our souls magnify the Lord through our daily praises. May you have a blessed day.
