Dear People of God,
It is 24th day of December. A couple of hours to go for the Christmas celebrations. In the first reading, King David wanted to build a house for the Lord. Yet, God promised him that God is interested in building David’s house. In the Responsorial Psalm, we continue to hear that God reassures King David, “Forever I will maintain my kindness toward him, and my covenant with him stands firm.” Today’s Gospel is a song of praise for the Incarnation of Jesus, Zechariah sang, “Blessed be the Lord, the God of Israel, for God has come to his people and set them free.God has raised up for us a mighty Saviour, born of the house of his servant David.” Time has come to witness the birth of the Saviour in our lives. God never goes back in his words and promises. God sets us free through His Beloved Son Jesus. All who believe in the Incarnation of Jesus participates in the promises of God. We are invited to participate in the beautiful Birth of Jesus in our families and lives. Let us receive the Babe from Bethlehem no matter how busy we can be. May we make a serious effort to attend a worshiping place where you participate in the Liturgy of salvation. If you are not able to attend a service, at least read the Incarnation account from the Gospel of Luke and Matthew. God wants to bless all of us because of Jesus. May you too receive the blessings from God who always loves us. May you have a blessed day.
