It is 25th September 2020.

The readings are from Ecclesiastes 3:1-11; and the Gospel from Luke 9:18-22.

There is clearly marked schedule of life for everything planned by God.  More we attune to the timings, better the possibilities and growth.

The rhythm, timing, order is the mind of God. When we fall in line with timings of God and life, we are to be blessed abundantly.

The first reading stresses the significance of time in our life.  “For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven.” (Eccl.3:1).

Time is the precious gift of God to us along with life.  Using time for everything and not ready to offer time for God is the abuse of time even if we are fruitful in everything.

To be blessed by God, let us have time to recall, and remember all that God has done in our life.  There is nothing to panic when we follow the time of God.  Every one of us is included in God’s time and so in trust we wait on God.

The responsorial Psalm praises, “Blessed be the Lord, my Rock.” (Ps.144:1).

The Gospel invites us to examine our understanding of Jesus.  “Who do you say that I am?” Peter answered, “The Messiah of God.” (Lk.9:20).  Jesus preferred to be called as the Son of Man.  Finding and believing in identity of Jesus is our task for every one of us.  May we utilise the time given to us in building a rapport with Jesus to know Him and love Him for what He is.  May you have a good day.  God bless you.
