May the Lord kindly bless you with peace and health in the Holy Spirit.

It is 01st November 2021.

We celebrate the Solemnity of All Saints.

We reflect on Revelation 7:2-4, 9-14 and the Gospel of Mt. 5:1-12.

“After this I saw, and behold, a great crowd, so great that none could count its number, drawn from every race and from all tribes and peoples and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes and palms in their hands.”

Everyone can become a saint.  Sainthood is not on sale but on the sail for all those who love and show mercy to an extent that pleases God and triggers curiosity in the hearts of people.  There are no special university studies for sainthood.  Education, enlightenment, and enrichment of mind and body are not the requirements to be a saint.  As there are no shortcuts to Heaven, so there is none for sainthood too.

Sainthood is not a one-day project.  As a lifelong process of being faithful to those little things that make our souls swim in the ocean of mercy and love day by day and slowly and surely.

To be a saint one needs to relate with God and rely on the race of being not contented with loving oneself and exploring the

We are all on the road to sainthood.  There is no one is condemned and filtered to be evil, sinful and stain filled.

No one can be a saint unless they are grateful to God and all who contributed for their personal growth and all that they are in their life.  Shakespeare said that it was sharper than a serpent’s tooth to have a thankless child. To live a life of ingratitude is the most miserable life here on earth.

To be a saint is to ascribe power, strength, honour, and glory to God.  Yes, it is indeed a lifelong faithful response in dealing with our brokenness.  Without going through the tunnel of humiliation, tribulations, mortification, suffering and pain, we cannot become a saint.  “These are they who came out of the great tribulation.”

The supreme blessedness attained by faithful and sincere living a life of poverty, purity, brokenness, the Spirit-guided life, with a heart of unity, and willing to suffer for Christ.  May the Lord help us to reach the full stature of perfection by following Him to the core.  May our saintly life enrich humanity by securing love, peace, and joy for all people.  God bless you.
