May the Lord bless you with good health and peace of mind in the Holy Spirit.
It is 02nd February 2022. No consecration without silent sacrifices is noticed by God alone.
We celebrate the feast day of the Presentation of the Child Jesus in the Temple.
We reflect on Malachi 3:1-4 and Luke 2: 22-40.
We celebrate this feast on the 40th day of Christmas. It is the day we thank the Lord for the consecrated life in the Church. May the Lord kindly bless all those who have sacrificed their lives for the Lord and the people. As they renew their commitment to Christ, the Church, and the community they serve, let us wish them all a cheerful consecrated life.
“They took Jesus up to Jerusalem to present him to the Lord.”
The candles represent our personal life that brightens the milieu around us. As the candles sacrifices to fully without expectation of receiving anything in return, so may our life be a sacrifice to all without looking for comfort and consolation.
There is a light in everyone that we receive from God. The light is the Integrity and Purity that bring us closer to God. It is our mission all through our life to make the light of Christ shine around us is consecration.
As the Child Jesus was presented to God, we all need to offer ourselves. God whom we are looking for will enter our sanctuaries when we are least prepared. Hence, we all need to light and glory God’s people. The first and the best belong to the Lord.
Anna the daughter of Phanuel still shines for us to be the model for consecrated living. May the Lord continue to bless our efforts in presenting our lives daily.
