It is 23rd April 2021.
The Acts 9:1-20; and the Gospel from John 6:52-59.
Conversion comes through God, in the Holy Spirt and by the faith in Jesus. Every conversion is a journey to end in Jesus.
In everyone’s life there is a moment of conversion to be aware of God’s presence. No one can live the way they way want deleting God from their life till the end. If we fail to grab the moment of blessings with God and God makes us aware by something we least prepared or expected. We tend to exit God whenever it suits us, but God does not leave us. There is no way out for God to leave our life even when we abuse our freewill and freedom that is bestowed on us. God is just patient with us and allows us to doubt, question and quarrel with God’s will for us but never allows us to be forgotten by us.
Saul who humiliated, tortured, and murdered the believers is struck down from his pride, arrogance, and abuse to become a firm believer in Christ. Ananias led by the Spirit of God to help Saul to regain his sight that is physical as well as spiritual. “For several days Saul was with the disciples in Damascus, and immediately he began to proclaim Jesus in the synagogues, saying, “He is the Son of God.” (Act. 9:20).
The responsorial Psalm acclaims, “Go out to all the world, and tell the Good News.” ((Mk.16:15).
Jesus continues to convince us that He is the Bread of Life. Life and eternal life are experienced by those who “But the one who eats this bread will live forever.” (Jn.6:51). The Holy Eucharist is the body and blood of Jesus visibly we can experience, and the Word of God is also to be the Bread of Life. Our loving relationship with one another makes this nourishing of the Bread of Life in the Eucharist and the Word of God meaningful and fruitful not only to us but to everyone who believes. Have a lovely day. God bless you.
