Sin entered the world through one man, so also God redeemed the world through one Man – His Only Begotten Son, Jesus

Good morning good people, May the Lord give you peace and blessings in the Holy Spirit. It is 21st October 2025.  We reflect on Romans 5:12, 15, 17-21 and Luke 12:35-38.

Are fight against or light up sins in life?

St. Augustine encourages us: “Grace is not a reward for the righteous; it is the gift that makes us righteous.”

We are given the assurance by St. Paul in the first reading that the free gift of grace is offered to all of us, even though we are all trying so hard to deal with sin. We must never grow weary of fighting sin in our lives, for God, in His supreme goodness and mercy, constantly fills us and supplies us with sufficient and necessary grace through His beloved Son, Jesus.

“Where sin increased, grace abounded all the more, so that, just as sin exercised dominion in death, so grace might also exercise dominion through justification leading to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” (Rom. 5:21)

We need to focus on the Risen Jesus who bore all our sins. Yes, we believe that as sin entered the world through one man, so also God redeemed the world through one Man—His Only Begotten Son, Jesus. Let us be strengthened and motivated by the abiding presence of the Lord during the most draining times of sin.

The responsorial psalm prays, “Here I am, Lord; I come to do your will.” (Ps. 40:8–9)

We are reminded in the Gospel that Jesus desires our spiritual lives to be in order when He returns, no matter what time or hour that may be. How vigilant and alert are we to meet our Serving Master and Redeemer? The Lord longs to dine with us, to serve us food, and to grant us the rest well-deserved and lovingly offered by Him. He wishes to listen to all our worries, fears, anxieties, and all that troubles our hearts.

“He will gird himself, have them recline at table, and proceed to wait on them.” (Lk. 12:37)

May we be found worthy to meet Him with humble and holy lives.

May you have a blessed day.
