Good morning good people may the Risen Lord bless you with peace and happiness.
It is on 20th April 2024.
What makes Jesus alive in our life?
We reflect on Acts 9:31-42 and John 6:60-69.
In adversity, we tend to be adventurous.
Opportunities are abundant for those who spread the wings of peace and prayer.
We are spiritually fiber in gratitude when we love God and respond to the promptings of the Holy Spirit.
Tolerance is the key to our belief in recognizing and accepting the goodness in others with their distinctive elements of faith.
After the persecution, the community of believers spread far and wide especially through the healing ministry of St. Peter by restoring Tabitha to life.
The responsorial Psalm “How can I repay the Lord for all his goodness to me?” (Ps.116:12).
We all love fun, and jokes in our day to day conversations with one another.
The moment someone initiates and invites us to talk and share profoundly on spiritual stuff and something to do with inner connection with God we wish to shift and shun as fast as we could.
When the going becomes tough, we all love to quit.
When Jesus spoke about the Bread of Life in-depth, many had issues, doubts, and criticism in abundance and consequently left Him.
Believing in the Word of God and the Eucharist is not a personal endeavor, but it is the gift given by the Father to all who believe in the Son.
Many have left and left the Church today not because they did not understand the Word of God or failed to follow it but because they are unable to recognize the presence of Christ in the Most Holy Eucharist.
St. Peter boldly proclaims among so many who were having unbelief in the Bread of Life,
“Lord, to whom can we go? You have the words of eternal life. We have come to believe and know that you are the Holy One of God.”
It is the Spirit of God that gives life to our inner beings.
Believing in the Bread of Life is the rebirth we all need.
Just like St. Peter, we need to believe to become the instruments of healing.
Let us not compromise the quality of our faith with anything under the Sun.
Have a lovely day. May God bless you.
