May the Lord bless you with grace, peace, and health in the Holy Spirit.
It is 24th November 2021. We celebrate the memorial of Vietnamese Saints Andrew Dung-Lac, Priest and Companions, Martyrs. We reflect on Daniel 5:1-6, 13-14, 16-17, 23-28 and the Gospel of Luke 21:12-19.
Life is indeed the opportunity to bring out the best from ourselves even in the most unfortunate situations. Despite being bullied by people around, we can pull through and pull over to the edges of happiness, peace, and joy. No person can claim the warranty of our life except God. Whenever things go well in life, people view the other person as a blessing and the opposite is a reality too. Signs of love does not require proof of perfection. To reach the perfection and fullness of loving God and people, we not only go by the sign but the signature of love of God and people in the pages of our life.
Traces and proofs of life are seen in the emotional marks and wrinkles in our being. Not all of them are healed, in fact, most of them are heaped up to be dealt with later or by someone. In bearing the marks and wounds of love, we offer a helping hand to those on the verge of giving up.
Our life is the only signboards, people could confidently read, reflect, react, and reassure. Allowing someone to flip the pages of life before we digest and direct it will be a pain perennially. Messengers of love cannot continue to rule and dictate our life
God values and weighs our life whether it is worth or worthless every microsecond we live here on earth. In the first reading, God has measured the outcome of the life of the King
Because of love, we can be betrayed, bolted out, and even dumped in the bin, yet genuine love generates power and transcends to remain faithful to the end. “You will be hated by all because of my name. But not a hair of your head will perish. By your endurance you will gain your souls.” (Lk.21:19). Peace and blessings come by living and living our life with meaning. Love does not require a dictionary to explain itself when there is an uninterrupted flow of consistency and constancy in life. May God bless you.
