Good morning, good people,
May the Lord give you peace and health in the Holy Spirit.
It is 05th September 2025.
We reflect on Colossians 1:21-23 and the Gospel of Luke 6:1-5.
Are we kind or blind to other?
St. Mother Teresa of Calcutta “If you ever feel distressed during your day — call upon our Lady. Just say this simple prayer: ‘Mary, Mother of Jesus, please be a mother to me now.’”
Growing up is not merely a ritual but a right. We are called to grow in every aspect of life, especially in our fruitful relationship with God. When we focus too much on one side of life, the rest suffers and becomes undernourished. Which side of our life have we neglected—spiritual, physical, or mental? Each of us knows the answer deep within.
Maturity is always maternal, for it loves genuinely and seeks true happiness. To grow up unconditionally, we need a few things in life; but to mature naturally, we need the presence of many people who shape and guide us.
St. Paul reminds us that we are reconciled, matured, and strengthened spiritually through the Passion and Cross of Jesus. At some point in life, we all regret not being more generous and sincere with God. Yet, God desires that we always be reconciled to Him.
God wants us to place humanity at the helm, above anything else under the sun. Yes, we live by faith, and so we must uphold dignity and respect for every person. God cares for us through Jesus, because “The Son of Man is Lord of the Sabbath” (Lk 6:5).
Let us not sacrifice people for the sake of rules and customs. The hunger of a person must never be ignored. Our spiritual maturity is most visible in the way we care for those in need.
May the Lord help us to grow up in service to others. God bless you.
