May the Lord bless you with peace, grace and health in the Holy Spirit.
It is 14th December 2021.
We celebrate the memorial of St John of the Cross, priest and doctor of the Church. “Where there is no love, put love – and you will find love,” tells the saint of the day. We reflect on Zephaniah 3:1-2, 9-13 and Matthew 21:28-32.
If we are ready to do, the world is more than ready to embrace ourselves. Just because we can do, the desire to do the things begin to come. Life is all about reducing the distance between our words and actions. When words are longer than actions, love is diminished by time, lousiness lacerates our life. where words go into silence, there starts the action.
There are five things that are so important to bring out the best in each one of us. They are as follows: We make others win; Educate the others with your life; Build credibility consistently in front of others; Do it again and again even if others do not recognize it; never consider anyone as the enemy but friends.
Some of us promise but do not keep up the words but many of us refuse to do things yet something in us make us revise what we said and go after doing it. The story shared by Jesus about two sons is the mindset we have. Both sons are wanting something. One refused to go yet he went; another promised to go and did not go. Both lied. One lied by action and another by word.
During this special time of the year, may we truly try to reduce the space between our words and actions. In this process, we recognize the presence of Christ even in a crisis. God bless you.
