May the Lord give you peace and health in the Holy Spirit. It is on 31st July 2023. We reflect on Exodus 32:15-24, 30-34 and Matthew 13:31-35.
Is your life on an axis or in a crisis?
Without moral integrity, we cannot fashion internal purity that embraces an inclusive mindset. excluding anyone or anything just because we are not comfortable with will redefine our moral integrity.
Our maturity is noticed when we think of the welfare of others and are willing to suffer and go through inconvenience for others even when they have gone astray.
A leader filled with anger cannot lead an unorganized crowd. The anger of a leader does not motivate any crowd towards integral growth and maturity in the long run.
The choice of the People of Israel to worship the molten calf devasted Moses to the core. Knowing the faith crisis of the people, he was willing to be punished by the Lord. But God in supreme goodness did not want to hold Moses responsible for the failure of people.
Growth happens in the molecular formation of tiny efforts of the day. Even these tiny efforts are interrupted by the presence and belief in the molten calves in our lives.
Two parables in today’s Gospel inspire us to believe in the attempts we make to be better. Life might not offer everything we long for, but it provides the means to be the best possible with everything. Our sustainability lies in the support we offer for the weak links of the community.
May we deal with the desire to lean on petty gods. May God bless you.
