May the Lord give you peace and grace in the Holy Spirit.
It is 09th April 2022. We reflect on Ezekiel 37:21-28 and John 11:45-56.
Just a day to enter the Holy Week, we are encouraged to have hearts to love and unite as it is the core theme of the Holy Week starting from tomorrow with Palm Sunday.
There is no way anyone can help us from outside if we cannot help ourselves. Self-observation is the only
Claiming is the first mental sickness. Expecting something from others and from society never allows us to contribute to the full. Just because contribute something to someone, or society does not mean that we have done it all by our own effort all alone. In reality, there is nothing to claim in this world except reclaiming ourselves from all our loss and fear. We lose so much to our emotions than motions.
“I shall gather them together from everywhere and bring them home.” God keeps up the promises and is always ready to redeem us and reclaim us. God does not like us to remain fragmented, divided, and opposed to each other as small segments. The responsorial Psalm strengthens our belief, “The Lord will guard us, as a shepherd guards his flock.”
There is someone who divides us in every move of our life. It is shocking to know that the person who divides us is not from outside but from within. It is something personal, pleasurable, pervasive, and perennial. It is by sharing the best we have with others without shaming others that we need. The courage to lose refills the emptiness in ourselves. It is by gathering we guard and secure.
The Prophet Ezekiel convinces us that the sole intention of God was, is and will always be is unit God’s people into one human family that cares, loves, heals, and shares. We experience and feel God’s salvation when we feel united and loved. The crucial thing to experience the blessings of Easter is to reconcile with God through the Sacrament of the Reconciliation.
God has decided to forgive, heal, and love through God’s only Son Jesus. Hence let us take these days’ blessings seriously and be blessed. God bless you.
