Good morning good people may the Lord give you peace and blessings.
It is 05th March 2022.
We reflect on Isaiah 58:9-14 and Luke 5:27-32.
The assurance of God’s love is displayed in our acts of charity.
“Your light will rise in the darkness, and your shadows become like noon.” (Is.58:8)
Lent is not the time to leave something alone but to live daily life meaningfully.
God strengthens us when we are willing to share our bread and take a stand for the oppressed and the weak.
We cannot repent without being charitable. God rewards repentance always. Being sensitive, sensible to the poor and sanctifying a quality moment for God allows us to experience the saving justice of God.
Repentance is not a sorrowful, and painful moment but it is a joyful and grateful moment of coming closer to God and to those whom we kept far from our love circle.
Every vocation from the Lord is for repentance and to leave our old, routine, comfortable and pleasurable ways.
Charity and clarity alone can liberate us from all the attachments and attractions to sinful living.
May God bless you.
