May the Lord bless you with peace, grace, and health in the Holy Spirit.
It is 10th December 2021.
We reflect on Isaiah 48:17-19 and Matthew 11:16-19. We celebrate the memorial of our Lady of Loretto.
“O that you had paid attention to my commandments! Then your prosperity would have been like a river, and your success like the waves of the sea.” (Is.48:18). The Psalmist reiterates: “Those who follow you, Lord, will have the light of life.”
Who is the mentor of our mind, heart, and soul?
God is not only our loving and protecting Shepherd but a wisdom-filled Teacher. God teaches us every day something new every to move away from our sinful clinging to move forward to hold on to God in all circumstances.
“Wisdom is vindicated by her deeds.” (Mt.11:19). We tend to blame the other person when we do not like her or him. It is possible when a person challenges us in our life or the value we hold, we blatantly attack the other person. “For John came neither eating nor drinking, and they say, ‘He has a demon;’ the Son of Man came eating and drinking, and they say, ‘Look, a glutton and a drunkard, a friend of tax collectors and sinners!’” (Mt.11:19). The actions of the person cannot be hidden. The actions enveloped by words reveal the wisdom of the person. Wisdom comes from God. All who love God continue to do what God wishes to see in their life.
God is prepared to teach if we are willing to listen. May God bless you to have a day filled with wisdom.
