It is 14th November 2015. The readings are from Wis.18:14-16;19:6-9 and the Gospel from Lk.18:1-8. The first reading teaches us further more not only to find God in nature but also in the events of the history. Two historical event is brought to our minds through the readings. Humanly impossible yet God made everything possible for the people. The first event is the night before the Exodus and the second miraculous event is crossing the Red Sea. God reveals himself in history as God does it in nature. The response rial Psalm reminds us, “Remember the wonders the Lord has done.”(Ps.104:5) The Gospel insists on persistent prayer. To be persistent does not mean to repeat the prayers endlessly. Persistence involves faith that God hears and responds to our prayer. Never to give up on God. God may delay in answering. God will answer all our prayers in God’s ways and in God’s perfect timings. Just and loving God cares for the most vulnerable people. May God grant u grace to find God through our prayerful encounters.
