It is 2nd December 2017. The readings are from Daniel 7:15-27; and the Gospel from Luke 21:34-36. Our search for truth and journey into wellness of whole being is moving towards deeper level of communicating and encountering with the Son of God as we conclude the thirty-four weeks of the ordinary of the Church preparing ourselves to be awake, alert and be ready at all times as we are not sure the exact time of the arrival of our Lord. Our alertness during the Advent is much sought after by willfully sacrificing our casual and social pleasures of life to meet the Lord. Our life is indeed a pilgrimage. We need to preserve the unity of the community and to persevere in the individual pursuit of meeting the Lord. Let us create an environment to be healthy spiritually to be wealthy in all in all. In the Gospel, Jesus warns all of us to be focused in Him always. As we are about to enter the Advent, we need to be ready to answer the call of God to stand before Him and to surrender our very lives to Him. Lord himself invites us to pray always. He says, “Be alert at all times, praying that you may have the strength to escape all these things that will take place, and to stand before the Son of Man.” (Lk.21:36). When we become senseless and directional less people, our lives turn into meaningless moments without purpose. Let us recognize the reign of the Lord in our lives and in our communities and to encourage one another to come closer to Him who blesses us all at times. God still loves us no matter how terrible we have gone away from Him. May you be strengthened in the presence of the Lord. Have a good day. May God bless you all.
